Last updated: 18 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of https://cheaplawnmower.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by X Enterprises, LLC, 18122 3rd Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012 ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is, and what it is not
The Site publishes general information about lawn mowers: mower types, what drives cost, gas, corded, and battery power, buying a used mower, repair or replace questions, deck size, mulching and bagging, mowing height, grass clippings, blades, maintenance, storage and fuel, and mower safety. We are not a retailer, a brand, a maker, a dealer, a repair shop, a testing laboratory, a government agency, a medical provider, or a lawyer. We do not sell mowers, parts, or equipment. The Site does not give prices, product picks, or step-by-step repair, sharpening, or engine instructions.
Important mower and yard safety notice
Power lawn mowers have fast-moving blades and can throw objects, tip or roll over, and cause burns, deep cuts, amputations, and other serious injury or death, to the person mowing and to anyone nearby. Fuel can catch fire, and engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide. You are responsible for how you choose, use, fuel, maintain, repair, store, and dispose of any mower, battery, or fuel, for following the maker's operator's manual and instructions, and for keeping children, pets, and bystanders away. If you are not sure something can be done safely, do not do it, and use a qualified service shop. In an emergency, call 911.
General information only; no professional, legal, or safety advice
Content on the Site is for general information. It is not legal, regulatory, medical, mechanical, safety, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the maker's operator's manual, a dealer or qualified service shop, your doctor, or a qualified professional. We do not say that any mower, battery, fuel, part, or practice is safe, and nothing on the Site is a safety inspection, test, or certification.
Children, pets, and bystanders
Where the Site describes age, supervision, or passenger guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the CPSC, or a university extension service, it does so as general information, in their words. Those are general recommendations, not a judgment that any child is ready to mow. You decide whether and when anyone in your care uses a mower, and you are responsible for supervising them.
Fuel, batteries, and storage
The Site does not give fueling, fuel-mixing, battery, charging, or storage procedures beyond what an agency or extension service says, and it names that source. Follow the maker's instructions for your mower, engine, battery, and charger, and your local rules for fuel and battery disposal.
Maintenance, blades, and repairs
The Site does not give repair, sharpening, blade removal, or engine steps. Any maintenance or repair you do, or have done, is at your own risk and should follow the maker's manual. If the manual sends you to a dealer or service shop, or you are not sure, use one.
Makers' manuals and instructions
Mowers, engines, batteries, chargers, blades, parts, fuels, and accessories are made and sold by third parties under their own terms. Their manuals, instructions, warnings, and labels control over anything on the Site. We have not tested any product. We are not responsible for any third party's products, manuals, instructions, or recalls.
Federal rules, standards, and emissions
Where the Site describes the CPSC Safety Standard for Walk-Behind Power Lawn Mowers (16 CFR Part 1205), voluntary standards the CPSC lists, or EPA emission, fuel, and battery guidance, it does so as the CPSC, the eCFR, or EPA states them, for general information only. The Site does not reprint standards and does not tell you what the law requires for any mower, engine, repair, or business. Rules change, and other federal, state, local, and foreign laws may apply. If you make, import, sell, repair, or modify mowers or engines, read the current rules and get advice from a qualified professional about your situation.
Agencies, organizations, and sources
Government agencies, medical associations, and universities named on the Site, including the CPSC, EPA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and university extension services, are credited for their own guidance and definitions. They do not endorse the Site, and the Site's mention of a standard or source is not a statement that any product is approved, certified, compliant, or safe.
Cost information and the Site name
"Cheap Lawn Mower" is the name of the Site. It is not a statement that any mower is cheap, low priced, or a good value. The Site does not list prices, and where it describes relative cost, it does so only as a named source states it. Prices, features, and availability are set by retailers and makers and can change.
Brand names and trademarks
Brand, product, program, and organization names mentioned on the Site belong to their owners. We use them only to credit their own guidance. The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand or organization it mentions.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, under the retailer's terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Eligibility
The Site is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in violation of any law;
- copy, scrape, or republish Site content in bulk without our written permission;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site.
Intellectual property
Site content, design, and text are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Third-party names and trademarks are covered under "Brand names and trademarks" above.
Third-party websites
Links to retailers, makers, government agencies, medical associations, universities, and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, or policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY PURCHASE FROM A THIRD PARTY, OR THE USE, FUELING, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, OR STORAGE OF ANY MOWER, ENGINE, BATTERY, BLADE, FUEL, OR EQUIPMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. Except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief over intellectual property, any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration will be King County, Washington, unless you and we agree otherwise. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to take part in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section, exclusive venue for permitted court actions is the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
Assignment and change of operator
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and the Site, to a successor operator, including as part of a sale of the Site, without notice to you. After that, the successor operator takes our place under these Terms and may post its own terms. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
Miscellaneous
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
